Chemical and petrochemical plants are operated semi-automatically. The service life of assets and protective devices is to be predicted from the many measurement and condition data generated during operation (simulation and big data analysis). Test cycles can thus be individually adapted to processes and maintenance can be planned precisely. Plant downtimes can be reduced to a minimum.
