Route
By train
From Karlsruhe main station:
From the station forecourt, take line S4 (Stadtbahn) every 20 or 40 minutes in the direction of Bretten/Eppingen/Heilbronn to the Berghausen-Hummelberg stop. Travel time about 30 minutes (please note: due to construction work in the city center, there may be delays), walk about 10 minutes, incline 11 percent. Please do not take an “express train” and please note that the “Hummelberg stop” is an on-demand stop, i.e. you have to push the door button. The CSE main building is located directly on the left before the main entrance to Fraunhofer ICT.
From Karlsruhe-Durlach train station:
ake the S4 line (light rail) every 20 or 40 minutes in the direction of Bretten/Eppingen/Heilbronn to the Berghausen-Hummelberg stop. By car
From Frankfurt/Main or Basel (CH):
Motorway A5, exit Karlsruhe-Nord [43], B10 direction Pforzheim, turn left approx. 300 m after the tunnel and follow the signs to the Fraunhofer ICT; follow the Joseph-von-Fraunhofer Straße approx. 1.5 km uphill. The CSE main building is located directly on the left before the main entrance to the Fraunhofer ICT.
PLEASE NOTE: The CSE can only be reached via the new access road (Hummelbergstraße)! The access via Weiherstraße / Steinerstraße or Sonnenbergstraße is not possible!
Aus Richtung Stuttgart/München:
Autobahn A8, Ausfahrt Pforzheim-West [43], B10 Richtung Karlsruhe, durch Pfinztal-Berghausen fahren und nach der Tankstelle am Ortsende rechts abbiegen und den Hinweisschildern zum Fraunhofer ICT folgen; der Joseph-von-Fraunhofer Straße ca. 1,5 km bergauf folgen. Das CSE-Hauptgebäude befindet sich direkt links vor der Haupteinfahrt zum Fraunhofer ICT.
BITTE BEACHTEN SIE: Das CSE ist nur über die neue Zufahrtstraße (Hummelbergstraße) zu erreichen! Die Zufahrt über die Weiherstraße / Steinerstraße bzw. Sonnenbergstraße ist nicht möglich!
